Today, Saturday, is the first day of CTEC 2021 Online. We are excited as we warm up our OBS, fire up the spreadsheets & dive into the profiles of the players who will be competing. We have seen amazing scores during qualification and will be watching every flip, spin, turn, drop & excellence as we see players go NECK’N’NECK live on the two Twitch channels.

Might want to keep an eye on the owner of today’s highest qualify score: SIDNEV. Make sure not to miss the 3 in-a-row Classic Tetris European Champion (ion location), SVAVAR. CTEC is an OPEN CUP on the PAL format so it will be interesting to see the competitor from USA who normally plays on NTSC – represented by Classic Tetris World Championship, CTWC, EREN. And last but certainly not least, actually a number one, MAIWINGKOS who won all if it last year and became the first to win an CTEC ONLINE! We could go on mentioning names, as all who have qualified are top level Classic Tetris Pal Players! But today will be the day to put them all to the Tetris Test and see them in combat. 2 Groups of 8 will be competing internally. The two best of from each group will move on to Sunday next week where final day is upon. Phew, what a Tetris journey that lays in front of us!
