Hello fellow Tetris friends!
The news section has experienced a drought and hopefully this update will serve as the first longbar with more to come. We want to invite you inside the CTEC organization and show how the new structure and setup consists of a big CTEC TEAM that includes smaller individual teams.

CTEC TEAM: This is our “main” team where members meet at least once a month. The team consists of active players organizers from CTWC DAS past CTEC team members & organizers. Everybody involved wants to help with bringing the event in a more positive direction. The team communicates about all aspects of organizing CTEC. Head of other Teams present what has been worked with within the month leading up to the CTEC TEAM meeting. Some of the members may also be working with tasks individually and/or together in ad hoc teams to prepare tasks like stream software equipment location graphics information and setup.

TOURNAMENT TEAMS:
The Gameboy Team and NES Team have separate meetings to bring you the best possible Classic Tetris PAL tournament for CTEC2023 This is done to ensure both NES and Game Boy are ready for CTEC in November including schedule, bracket, number of matches and more. The teams work all year around. Other members of the CTEC TEAM are also looking into the latest tech-options and stream-demands in respect to number of streamed stations, Game Boy streaming hardware, computer equipment, internet connection and much more.

TEAM LOCATION
When it is game time we see players come prepared – and so will we be. These team members are working specifically with arranging “CTEC on location” with tasks they will be in charge of once the tournament is on. The team will expand but we would still like to show you some of its members who attend our monthly meetings and/or have signed up for tasks already. We look forward to seeing you – either through the stream chat or in person when CTEC is happening in November.

We are a growing PAL community who are getting more attention from a bigger audience. The talent and the number of players are growing too including their style of playing and techniques being performed. To make sure everyone is kept up to speed and has a fair fighting chance – future decisions, adjustments, concerns and the like will be released in the CTEC announcement channel. The channel is updated by our “Head of Teams” at least once every month.
Criticism is taken seriously and we expect everyone to see the improvements and how this is an event from the community for the community. All without losing its identity.
We will soon announce more about the style of tournament with a special focus on DAS & rolling.
